Mystic Fire is a trademark of Azotic LLC. Mystic Fire topaz is treated with a coating known as Physical Vapor Deposition, which may not be permanent. Special care is required. Clean with warm water and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid polishing and buffing and abrasive, ammonia-based, steam, and ultrasonic cleaners, as these may remove or damage the coating.

Sapphire is commonly subjected to enhancement processes or treatments such as heating and diffusion. Gently clean by rinsing in warm water and drying with a soft cloth.
