Opal may be subject to enhancement processes or treatments using wax, resin or oil, which may not be permanent and may require special care. Opals should not be cleaned by steam, in an ultrasonic cleaner, or with any harsh cleaning agents or in warm soapy water because of its hydrophane nature. Chain Broke after 3 Months - Charged for Repair
If you think spending hundreds of dollars on an item is an indication of quality, you may have a different perspective than the people at Zales. Although it had been three months, the chain broke while taking it off at the end of the day during regular use.
Zales' position is that they only stand by their jewelry for 30 days. That's quite the confidence in the product you are selling!
Have our 10th anniversary this year, I guess I'll be going elsewhere to make that purchase. Losing future sales over $60 worth of repairs, bizarre business decision.
