Returns and Exchanges

It was love at first sight, but now you are not so sure. Find out how to make a return or exchange.
Our Return & Exchange Policy

Having second thoughts? Don’t worry! You can return or exchange your item at any Zales Outlet store up to 30 days after purchase (shipping date for online orders). Please note: We can handle a return at, but exchanges must be done at one of our stores.

  • Jewelry must be in good condition and watches unworn, unaltered, and accompanied by the original packaging, warranty and instructions.
  • Returns and exchanges are not allowed on special ordered watches, custom designs, gift cards and merchandised received via the Jewelry Replacement Plan. Merchandise purchased using Progressive Leasing cannot be exchanged.
  • All refunds are credited to the same tender as the original purchase.
  • For Online Orders: We will credit your original payment method, excluding delivery charges.
Preparing Your Return By Mail

To return a shipped item to, please follow these steps:
  • Indicate the reason for your return in the Return Reason column on the package slip next to the item you're returning.
  • Include the packaging slip and all original documents in the package.
  • Put the pre-printed return label on the center of the box, and the pre-printed return address label on the top left corner of the box. This is not a pre-paid label.
  • Ship your package with a paid return label and insured for the full purchase price. The return label can be purchased at any UPS, FedEx or USPS package delivery provider.
  • Your packaging slip MUST accompany the return.
  • All returns will be inspected by our Quality Assurance team before we process a refund.
  • We'll credit your original payment method, excluding delivery charges, within three weeks of receiving your return.
